We are hiring a Kazakhstan national Crane Service Engineer (Offshore) to join the team based in Kazakhstan.

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Follow and comply with all HSSE requirements
• Demonstrate safe attitude and perform work with due care of COMPANY’s assets.
• Arrange all paper work (PTW) and ensure they are all set in order.
• Perform all preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage inventory of the spare parts
• Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading.
• Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Perform to planned schedules perform planned maintenance activities in line with documented / engineering practices.
• Maintain and repair cranes and axillary equipment in line with documented / engineering practices in a safe and productive manner to maximize availability at optimum cost.
• Co-ordinate scheduled activities with local Operations management to minimize process interference and down time.
• Maintain the Preventive Maintenance system ensuring records of service, breakdowns and repairs are recorded for all cranes.
• Where appropriate ensure hard copy, records are retained. Ensure all emerging work is recorded
• Maintain cranes, prolonging the life of the equipment under our remit by means of preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Reduce crane breakdowns by Preventative Maintenance on component items.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and route cause analysis on components after failure.
• Understand and deploy continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to optimize crane availability, reliability, and performance.
• Identify mechanical handling maintenance risks, intervenes & escalates potential issues before they impact safety or business performance Consolidates and collates mechanical handling maintenance performance data from across P&O.

Requirements

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent diploma.
• The candidate should a Kazakhstan national.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience working (i.e diagnosing/troubleshooting) on lifting equipment and accessories and Offshore pedestal cranes (Liebherr).
• English proficiency in verbal and written communication, intermediate level.
• Relevant crane and lifting equipment maintenance and trade records, e.g. training records in crane hydraulic system, electrical system, crane SCADA system calibration etc.
