College Counselor ( for the next academic year 2025-2026)

Spectrum International School is seeking a qualified and dedicated College Counselor to guide and support Secondary school students in their post-secondary planning. The College Counselor plays a vital role in helping students identify their academic and career goals and navigate the complex process of applying to universities worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group counseling to students in grades 6–12 on college and career planning.

• Assist students with the entire university application process, including university selection, application strategy, essays, CVs, and interview preparation.

• Organize and lead college information sessions, application workshops, and presentations for students and parents.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities and admissions representatives.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global higher education trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

• Work closely with school leadership, academic counselors, and teachers to support students’ academic and personal development.

• Prepare recommendation letters and school reports as needed.

• Be an active presence in the school.

Our requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Minimum 1 year of experience in college counseling or university admissions.

• Strong understanding of international university admissions (US, UK, Canada, EU, Asia, etc.).

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in English is required.

• Experience working with international students is an advantage.
