We are looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Financial Specialist based in Almaty who thrives at the crossroads of accounting and technology. In this role, you will not only handle essential accounting tasks but also play a key role in automating and improving our financial processes. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Banking Operations

Prepare and manage payment registers for domestic and international transactions  Draft payment orders in KZT and foreign currencies, ensuring accurate reconciliation with trial balances. Post and reconcile bank statements in 1C (KZT & foreign currencies). Register and close currency contracts in the banking system, ensuring timely reconciliations. Manage advance reports and documentation. Process sales invoices (AWR & e-invoices) and verify document completeness. Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable/receivable, including intercompany transactions. Record incoming materials, handle write-offs, and prepare reconciliation acts

Finance Systems & Automation

Support and configure financial systems (1C and others). Participate in automation projects: develop templates, implement tools (Excel automation, Power Query, RPA). Assist in integrating finance systems with external platforms (TMS, OMS, bank APIs). Prepare and automate reports using Power BI, Excel, and other digital tools. Document processes and technical improvements. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to drive digital transformation initiatives

YOUR PROFILE

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, IT, or a related field. At least 3 years’ experience in finance or accounting. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, formulas). Hands-on experience in 1C (posting, reconciliation, navigation). Interest in ERP systems, data automation, or reporting platforms. Accuracy, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Certificates such as Professional Accountant or Tax Consultant are a plus. English at an intermediate level or higher. English proficiency at intermediate level
