We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer - Technical Regulations and Standards to lead our certification efforts in the TR CU regulatory space for locomotives and locomotive components. The ideal candidate will develop and implement certification strategies while managing the entire certification process from application to certificate obtainment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead certification efforts in the TR CU regulatory space for locomotives and locomotive componentsDefine and implement company certification strategies to optimize costsManage certification budget and related financial planningCoordinate sample shipments to test laboratories for certification testingPrepare applications and technical documentation according to TR CU 001/2011 requirementsOrganize and participate in component certification testing processesCoordinate and conduct facility audits during certification processesManage contracts for component certification and annual auditsPrepare necessary documentation for certification agencies for annual audit readinessGuide manufacturing facilities through audit preparation processesObtain and maintain certificates and declarations in accordance with TR CU 001/2011Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field3+ years of experience in certification management, preferably in the rail industryIn-depth knowledge of TR CU 001/2011 regulations and certification requirementsExperience with international certification standards and processesStrong project management and budgeting skillsExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work with cross-functional teamsFluency in EnglishWho are we?
