Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant - a high-performing expert who will handle the process of standalone and consolidated reporting.

Main Responsibilities

•  Support the monthly consolidated IFRS accounts closing process in 1C including:

- monthly check of the closing of stand-alone accounts of all Group companies for accuracy and completeness;

- check of all automated accounting entries (currency revaluation; depreciation; AR/AP offsets etc);

- collect and review information from the different departments, and book the manual entries according to the provided information;

- review and accrue reserves and provisions;

- reconciliations of balances with external counterparties (Payment Systems, vendors);

- reconciliations of turnovers and balances with other internal systems;

- resolving all accounting irregularities and discrepancies.

• Maintain compliance of the consolidated financial reporting with internal policies and procedures and reporting deadlines;
• Prepare monthly consolidated and projects Reporting package (BS; PL; etc) for the management and shareholders;
• Support of the local accounting of different legal entities;
• Full support of the audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements of the companies in the different jurisdictions; handle auditors' requests in regard to the audit of the consolidated financials; provide explanations and supporting documents; review of proposed audit adjustments.
• Support the transition of data to the new accounting system SAP B1
• Handling ad-hoc requests from management and other departments.

Requirements

• higher education in economics and/or accounting;
• 3 + years as an IFRS manager / financial manager with consolidation responsibilities;
• experience in 1C accounting system;
• English B1+;
• any related certificates (ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc) and experience in SAP is a plus.
