KNOC Caspian LLP (Korea National Oil Corporation in Kazakhstan) is looking for a Finance Manager with possible relocation or frequent trips to Aktau

Location: Almaty/​​​​​​​Aktau
Willingness to fully or partly relocate to Aktau will be considered as an advantage.

Salary and relocation conditions: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop the company’s annual budget (calendar or fiscal year) by month, department, and category of income and expenses, including a planned cash flow report.
• Daily payment planning: seek management approval for current day payments and report on previous day transactions.
• Process, verify, and record invoices and payment requests submitted by employees; monitor budget compliance.
• Prepare monthly comparative cash flow and P&L reports (planned vs. actual), with variance explanations for management.
• Prepare actual cash flow reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Analyze financial statements and key performance indicators; calculate financial ratios.
• Monitor and control monthly production cost formation.
• Prepare and submit various financial reports to management and shareholders.
• Perform financial period closings in SAP.

Requirements:

• Advanced or proficient English (written and spoken)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance (preferably in the Big Four or Energy sector)
• University degree in Finance or Economics
• Solid experience in:
  • Financial accounting: audits, group reporting packages (GRP), and other related tasks
  • Managerial accounting: monthly reports and forecasts, cash flow reports and forecasts
  • Budgeting: planning and reporting budget execution
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial statement preparation and analysis
• Good understanding of tax, civil, labor, administrative law, and general accounting principles
• Advanced MS Office and Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools)
• Experience with SAP ERP
• Knowledge of 1C: Accounting

Working Conditions:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00
• 3-month probation period
