We are looking for Supply Chain Specialist to be a part of our Logistic team in Supply Chain function at Bereke plant, Kazakhstan
Mission: To ensure seamless, cost-effective, and timely logistics operations by acting as the key liaison between internal teams and external partners, while leading a high-performing team, optimizing wagon and material flow, and upholding operational excellence across the supply chain.
Main Responsibilities:
- External Stakeholder Management (Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL providers, wagon station personnel, outsourced handling teams, and railway maintenance partners, Coordinate loading/unloading schedules, address delays, and resolve service issues with external transport and wagon providers, Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and transport regulations)
- Internal Coordination (Collaborate with internal functions such Order Management, Warehouse Team, Sales Teams, Procurement, other plants)
- Team Leadership (Supervise and develop a team of logistics associates, Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to logistics SOPs)
- Operational Procurement (Monitor stock levels of operational materials (e.g., seals, styrofoam) and place timely orders)
- Pallet Return Coordination (Track and coordinate pallet returns from distributors)
- Reporting and Analysis (Wagon utilization, Demurrage costs, Lead time report, Suppliers' Performance Report, Daily shipment report)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of wagon scheduling, inbound/outbound transport planning, and warehouse flow coordination
- Stakeholder Management
- Reverse Logistics: Knowledge of returnable asset tracking, especially pallets, and coordination with distributors.
- Ability to manage logistics associates, allocate workload, and monitor daily tasks.
- Takes ownership of issues and follows through until resolution, especially during disruptions or peak load.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Proficient in preparing operational reports, identifying delays, calculating demurrage, and using Excel/Power BI (or similar tools) for root-cause analysis.
