You’ll lead strategic initiatives to optimize locomotive service operations, reduce waste, and elevate productivity across multiple service centers.

Responsibilities:

Champion Lean transformation using tools likeKaizen, 5S, A3 problem solving, Yamazumi, andValue Stream Mapping

Lead cross-functionalAction Workoutsto identify gaps, brainstorm solutions, and mentor teams

Develop and implementmodel linesandlean roadmapsfor service excellence

Drive measurable improvements indwell time,quality, andoperational metrics

Collaborate with service centers and suppliers to establishlean line flowsfor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

Supportinternational lean projects, managing scope, cost, and budget

Promote a culture ofcontinuous improvement, innovation, and visual management

LeadSpecial Projects Teamsand support Lean Six Sigma certification initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degreefrom an accredited university (Engineering or Applied Science preferred)

4+ yearsof experience in a Lean management environment

Proven experience inheavy industry servicesis highly desirable

Expertise in Lean tools and methodologies

Strongpresentation and influencing skillsat managerial level

Excellentcommunication skillsacross all organizational levels

Energetic, self-driven, and passionate about change

Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset

Innovative and willing to take calculated risks

Committed tolifelong learningand continuous improvement

Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required

Proficiency in English

This is an office-based role that requires frequent travel to remote locomotive service locations. Candidates must be fully prepared and willing to travel as a core part of the position.
