Digital Solutions Division offers solutions that drive the digital transformation of the mining and construction industries. The division provides a dynamic range of technology-agnostic digital solutions that improve safety, productivity, and sustainability onsite, from the control room to the boardroom.
As the Regional Digital Business Line Manager for Epiroc Central Asia Region (CAR), your mission will be to act as an enabler to establish Epiroc as the top leading technology partner in the CAR Region. The focus is on commercializing digital solutions portfolio, maximizing efficiency and providing exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders to maintain Epiroc’s position as a top technology partner in the CAR Region.
What are the main tasks and responsibilities of this job?
Focus areas and responsibilities.
• Maximizing Share of spend and profitability by ensuring the successful implementation and customer support for the Digital Solutions Portfolio, aiming to increase the company’s market share and profitability.
• Strengthening the product and application knowledge within sales teams to effectively communicate the value of Epiroc Digital Solutions to customers.
• To meet the unique needs of customers and markets within the CAR Region and ensuring optimal deployment of digital solutions.
• Ensuring alignment between Epiroc Digital Solutions Division and the CAR Regional leadership teams on strategic priorities and managing joint objectives, aiming to deploy the Digital Solutions Portfolio timely and meeting customer needs and financial expectations.
• Developing territory management and Go-To-Market strategies and target development plans for the Digital Solutions in the CAR Region, including revenue and profitability targets.
• Taking ownership of the CAR Regional budget for Digital Solutions, reporting, analyzing financial data, optimizing expenses, and managing headcount.
• Lead the Digital product pricing model and strategy, focusing on delivering value to customers while ensuring additional revenue and profit streams for Epiroc. Actively participating in the development and negotiation of tenders.
What critical competences, skills and experience is required for a candidate to be successful in this position?
Experience requirements
• Proven experience in driving digital development for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation)
• High level of business acumen with an understanding of commercial initiatives, particularly managing costs, and budgets, market validation with experience bringing products to market.
• Proven track record in growing business and business development in related industries.
• Strong comprehension of basic and intermediary financial statements and calculations
• Strong understanding of commercial documentation/contracts is an asset.
• Experience in production and mining industries/environments is an asset.
• Direct sales or commercial experience in digital solutions is considered an asset.
• Experience working in complex, interdisciplinary, cross-functional, and global teams.
Knowledge / Education
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or similar advantage. Master of Business Administration degree or equivalent product management advanced degree is advantageous.
