Join our team as aLead Remanufacturing Specialistand take charge of ensuring excellence in component repairs across our locomotive service network. You’ll work closely with suppliers, engineers, and service centers to monitor quality, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Monitor external suppliersto ensure compliance with repair and quality standards

Analyze post-repair component failuresto identify root causes and implement quality improvement plans

Train Wabtec personnelin repair processes at service workshops

Coordinate fleet program requestsfrom engineers and managers, gather data, and conduct tests

Support PPAP processes, collaborate with engineering and sourcing teams

Conduct auditsand follow up on corrective actions

Manage repair materialssupply for wheel set repairs

Track inventoryat supplier warehouses and conduct regular stock audits

Write off materialsin accordance with WIP processes

Coordinate wheel set logisticsbetween service centers and repair facilities

Plan and monitor transportationof wheel sets to and from repair locations

Order materialsfor component repair programs

Ensure timely shipmentof repairs and coordinate funding across service centers

Requirements:

Proven experience inremanufacturing, repair operations, or industrial quality assurance with min 3 years

Strong understanding ofrepair processes, material logistics, and supplier management

Ability toanalyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions

Excellentcommunication and coordination skillsacross teams and locations

Experience withPPAP, audits, and inventory control

Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities

Willingness and readiness totravel regularlyto service workshops and supplier sites

Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required

Proficiency in English
