We are seeking a strategic and visionary leader to serve as Director of Learning & Development, responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s learning and development strategy. This role oversees the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of impactful educational programs that support professional growth and organizational excellence. The Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage daily operations, and ensure alignment with broader institutional goals.
This position operates at a strategic level, contributing to the long-term development of human capital and fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the learning and development function, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and long-term objectives.
- Define and implement departmental goals, strategies, and business directions to position the organization as a regional leader in professional education and development.
- Lead planning, resource allocation, and performance management of the team.
- Develop and optimize internal workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee departmental budgeting, resource utilization, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Lead business development initiatives by identifying new markets, client segments, and partnership opportunities.
- Drive the promotion and sales of learning programs, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and educational institutions to expand the organization’s customer base.
- Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and service agreements to secure long-term collaborations.
- Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and presentations that effectively communicate the value of learning solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction, collect feedback, and ensure continuous improvement of offerings to enhance market competitiveness.
- Contribute directly to revenue generation and achievement of sales targets.
- Inspire, coach, and mentor a high-performing team, setting KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
- Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and a culture of excellence across the organization.
- Provide regular reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring confidentiality, safety, and compliance in all documentation and processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, HRM, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the education industry or related fields.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering successful learning programs.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution aligned with organizational goals.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred.
