The Astana International Financial Centre Authority is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Secretary (Manager of Administrative Support). This role is essential in organizing and managing administrative functions, ensuring high-quality, timely, and efficient administrative services under the direct supervision of the first Head.

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate instructions and directives to relevant structural units and ensure their implementation.

  • Maintain records and manage correspondence.

  • Prepare letters, requests, and other official documents as required.

  • Ensure the safekeeping and confidentiality of documents.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings.

  • Assist in managing accounting documentation, including invoicing, expense tracking, and record-keeping.

  • Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing documents.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Assistant or company management.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and AIFC guidelines.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all documentation.

  • Undertake additional job-related duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related social science field.

  • A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in administrative, management, or executive support roles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English is required.
