About the job

What are we looking for?

• Food science or equivalent BSc/ MSc degree is preferred.
• Experience of quality assurance from a sizable organization
• Knowledge of quality management system – ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and quality program GMP/ Hygienic design.
• Familiar with legal food safety requirement, food process technology.
• Problem solving skills and systematic thinking
• Proven experience in people management and project management

What will be your key responsibilities?

• The job holder is the guardian of Quality Management System, and ensures that it is fully and effectively deployed and developed/improved on an on-going basis
• The job holder has a key role to play in providing and nurturing a strong Quality and Food Safety culture
• Lead and develop associates of the quality and food safety department, as well as the laboratory.
• Ensure the use of advanced knowledge, methods, best practices, and equipment that will ensure the production of a safe and high-quality product and compliance with both external government requirements and internal requirements of Mars, including the requirements of international standards ISO, HACCP, and the requirements of the global MARS QMP standard
• Lead quality and food safety risk analysis. Implement solutions aimed at eliminating identified risks in the fields.
• Lead and ensure timely preparation, implementation and up-to-date maintenance of documents, procedures of the departments of quality & food safety and laboratory
• Maintain the effectiveness of the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of the international standards ISO, HACCP and the requirements of the global MARS QMP standard, conduct the necessary training, provide preliminary measures and corrective actions
