Sourcing Specialist is the member of Schlumberger Procurement & Sourcing Department (P&S) who, under the supervision of the Geounit P&S Manager, is responsible for sourcing suppliers, contractual negotiations with suppliers in accordance with our P&S standards and best practices. Permanent location in Atyrau.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers;
Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company;
Obtaining quotes from different suppliers;
Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers;
Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns;
Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes;
Providing solutions to improve company spending and outsourcing;
Contractual negotiations with suppliers;
Team KPOs set internally;
Cross functional.
Requirements:
Drives completion of tasks respecting deadlines and communicating openly with stakeholders and management;
Minimum 3 years in procurement;
Demonstrated sourcing and/or purchasing experience or transferable skills including negotiation, identifying opportunities and supporting supplier selection to achieve timely execution;
Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments;
Demonstrated professional oral / written communication and influencing skills;
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Strong PC and database management skills;
