Could you be the full-time Project Change and Configuration Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in configuration and change management to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of configuration data throughout the project lifecycle. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Service Project Managers and Technical Managers), provide guidance on configuration and change management tools, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of maintaining configuration baselines and training team members on configuration rules but also contribute to process improvements and reporting accuracy.
We’ll look to you for:
Writing and maintaining the Configuration and Change Management Plan (CMP) to implement the process in projects/programs
Establishing and managing the configuration and change management system, including tools and structure
Training team members on CMP rules and ensuring their consistent application
Defining reporting and indicators for configuration and change management
Maintaining the accuracy of configuration items data throughout the project lifecycle
Planning, organizing, and attending Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings
Creating and publishing configuration baselines and writing release notes
Analyzing configuration and change management indicators and providing insights
Suggesting improvements based on lessons learned

Engineering degree or at least 1 year of experience in configuration and change management
Minimum 6 months of experience in configuration and change management (or 1 year if no engineering degree)
Knowledge of SAP; other tools such as Lascom AEC, ClearCase, PLM Enovia, Clearquest, RTC, GitLab are desirable
Fluency in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to tasks
Desirable: Knowledge of the railway service domain and engineering environment awareness
