Andersen is hiring a Product Architect for a global beverage company. The role focuses on developing analytics tools and BI solutions to support data-driven decisions and business growth.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing analytics products and BI tools to enable data-driven decision-making. It involves coordinating development teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards, and delivering insights that drive growth, improve consumer experiences, and optimize business processes.

Technology stack: Power BI, DAX, M (Power Query), Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse.

Responsibilities:

• Owning and constantly developing a customer value stream specific (domain) data visualization product portfolio in alignment with technological and business priorities.
• Taking charge of end-to-end build of Analytics Products that meet Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering and Data Visualisation standards.
• Formulating deep understanding of end-to-end data flow and technical architecture for all products in value stream significantly shaping solution design of products.
• Defining data model in line with architecture standards to best fulfil business requirements and create scalable, sustainable, enterprise-grade BI solution.
• Acting as technical lead of agile POD team developing robust BI solution: forming the right discovery and delivery teams and coordinating (internal and 3rd party) BI developers, Junior Developers, and Business Analysts.
• Steering the team in DevOps, including code review and acceptance of tasks and backlog items.
• Being responsible for Service Introduction and BAU setup process.
• Working with Head of Data Visualisation and Lead Architects to apply and enhance Data Visualisation Standards e.g. model types.
• Working closely with Product Line leads to provide architecture coverage for assigned Analytics Products.
• Acting as ‘Tier 3’ – i.e., data model-level – BAU support.
• Being responsible for support and respective coordination of BI developers within Product team.

Must-haves:

• Proven experience in complex development of BI solutions, preferably on Azure architecture, for 4+ years.
• Hands-on working experience as Lead Developer, with complex BI Product build including data modelling.
• Extensive knowledge of DAX & M language (Power query), defining and configuring coding standards and security model within Power BI models (RLS).
• Expertise in data acquisition, processing, storage, and modelling for visual analytics (preferably Azure SQL, ADF and DataBricks).
• Good understanding of Azure BI architecture and Azure resources.
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform, cloud data pipelines, ADLS, ADB, Synapse.
• Experience in detailed technical documentation and challenging/defining standards.
• Experience in building and navigating complex business relationships while ensuring products are designed for optimal user experience and have measurable criteria for success.
• Flexible, dynamic personality who works well partnering/collaborating in a matrixed team environment.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering/Economics/Statistics.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets, including CSV, TXT, JSON, and XML.
• Experience working with Design team (XD/UI) Developed reports/dashboard upon design templets, wireframe, Figma screens.
• Demonstrated currency in user experience and visualization best practices and evolving trends, technologies, and techniques.
