Senior Financial Manager

Functions:

1. Collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.

2. Set up and automate the reconciliation process between balances and cash flow.

3. Reporting to management and stakeholders, and providing advice how the company and future business decisions might be impacted

4. Preparation of financial reports related to budgets, client payments, expenses etc.

5. Reviewing, monitoring, and managing budgets.

6. Automation of budgeting process and budget control.

7. Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk

8. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

9. Active involvement in preparation of the accounting policy of APS in accordance with requirements of both regulators (AIFC, NBRK).

Required Education and Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Master’s degree, CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is an advantage.

Experience:

• A minimum of 4–5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.

• Prior experience in financial management within a financial services or payments company is preferred.

• Proven expertise in budget management, financial reporting, and process automation.

• Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and accounting standards (experience with AIFC and NBRK requirements is an advantage).

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

• Highly analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Efficient team player with demonstrated leadership abilities.

• Confident communicator with clear expression of ideas in both speech and writing.

• Strong technical skills (Advanced Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI)

Language Skills:

• Advanced level of English (spoken and written) preferred; upper-intermediate is the minimum requirement.

• Fluent in Russian.
