Are you a detail-oriented tax professional with a passion for making an impact? We’re on the lookout for a dynamic Tax Manager to oversee all tax-related functions for our Company. If you’re ready to bring your expert knowledge and proactive approach to a forward-thinking environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Tax Management: Handle tax liabilities for our Company (a member of the KZ Special Economic Zone), including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), non-resident taxes, and local taxes.
• Customs Union Expertise: Work with goods and services across the Customs Union while maintaining separate tax accounting and records.
• Audit Support: Provide support during tax audits, including managing appeals when needed.
• Tax Optimization: Develop strategies to optimize tax obligations and reduce the overall tax burden.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate tax risks to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Reporting: Manage corporate reporting, including deferred taxes and tax packages.
• Collaboration: Work closely with tax specialists from our parent company and other support functions.
• Legislative Monitoring: Keep up to date with legislative changes and advise on implications.
• Contract Analysis: Review contracts for tax implications and suggest necessary amendments.
• Project Support: Assist in executing projects to ensure seamless tax compliance and implementation of recommendations.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Address tax issues related to cross-border payments, transfer pricing, and M&A activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in tax management.
• In-depth knowledge of Kazakhstan and CIS tax regulations.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
