Job Description
- Develop and implement media campaigns to support the recruiting process;
- Provide advisory assistance, address email inquiries from other divisions, interact with the structural divisions of the University on marketing activities, media outreach, advertise materials aimed at increasing brand awareness and promote educational programs; provide consultations and guidance to schools and divisions regarding marketing strategies; support schools and divisions in optimizing marketing campaigns and initiatives;
- Develop attractive and informative content relevant to the mission, values and strategic goals of the University; assist in the creation of written materials, including press releases, articles, blog posts, demonstrating research, achievements of teachers and milestones of the University;
- Create and manage monthly newsletters to inform internal and external audiences about events and activities of the university; collaborate with relevant teams to gather information and updates for inclusion in the newsletters;
- Develop partnerships with external organizations, media and influencers to expand the university's reach and reputation; manage and execute of contracts; communicate with industry partners, research institutions and public organizations to create mutually beneficial initiatives;
- Publicize university events, lectures, conferences and research symposia through targeted marketing campaigns;
- Work with analytics of media data and information tools of the University (Google Analytics, media monitoring systems, etc.) timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University's management;
Qualifications
- knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the fields of education, media, advertisement;
- ability to write press releases, articles;
- analytical abilities;
- ability to plan PR campaigns;
- ability to plan campaigns in social networks;
- fluency in English, Kazakh and Russian.

Additional Information
Higher education, preferably with English as a language of instruction.
- Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education “Nazarbayev University”:
- at least 3 years of relevant professional experience or in areas corresponding to functional areas of the specific position in civil service, in international and/or national companies, if a candidate holds a Bachelors/Specialist degree; or
- at least a 1 year of relevant professional experience or in areas corresponding to functional areas of the specific position in civil service, in international and/or national companies, if a candidate holds a Master’s degree.
- Experience in the field of media relations, internet marketing, online advertising, content creation, strategic PR and/or marketing, social media management (SMM), Internet marketing is desirable
Preferred majors: Marketing, IT, or other related areas.
