Key responsibilities:
· Leading the review and analysis process of all submitted materials from the subsidiary network or business units, and proposals for potential strategic acquisitions, divestures or investments obtained for the consequential review by the Transactions Committee;
· Identifying and highlighting key risks, synergies, valuation considerations, and other applicable areas for analysis based on the obtained materials for review;
· Developing, reviewing, and challenging financial models, valuation analyses, budgets, and scenario testing prepared by the subsidiary network or business units;
· Critically analyzing and validating assumptions, rationale for implementation, investment attractiveness and corresponding key investment indicators;
· Acting as liaison with the subsidiary network or business units and coordinating inputs required for the preparation and finalization of materials in accordance with the outlined requirements of the Transactions Committee;
· Tracking all projects and requests submitted for the Transactions Committee’s review and preparing monthly update reports summarizing key decisions and status changes;
· Transaction support on potential acquisitions, divestitures, mergers or takeovers of companies/assets, including creation of new lines of business as a part of the expansion strategy of the Holding Company, its subsidiaries, and affiliated companies on acquisitions or divestitures of assets and advising on M&A transactions;
· Conduction of complex financial analysis, building discounted cash flow and valuation models, and preparation of similar documents.
Requirements:
· Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in financial advisory services, previous experience in private equity and/or investment banking is an advantage;
· Sound knowledge of M&A processes and recent activities in the region;
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Audit or Economics, Master’s degree is an advantage;
· Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and business valuation;
· Excellent command in English and Russian (spoken and written);
· Strong technical skills including advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
· Previous experience with S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg data platforms is an advantage;
· CFA qualification in progress or completed is an advantage;
· Ability to prioritise tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in team environments;
· Highly analytical mind-set, critical thinking combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills – including the ability to articulate to the team;
· High level of attention to details and ability to master new tasks quickly;
· Strong ethical mindset and ability to work in a team.
